as a native californian, it’s well-known to visit big bear for the rare chance of snow & winter sporting but rarely do people speak of how beautiful & utterly enchanting it is during the summer. so quiet, peaceful, and full of activities like hiking swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, & even boating if that’s your thing. ugh. best staycation everrrr
